Sunday

Sunday - Sheril's Birthday! Happy belated birthday my baby sister *MWAH!* We went down to Orchard Road, did more browsing and shopping at Lucky Plaza and Sheril and I got MP3 players! (yay) Our first MP3 players. I think I'm just getting the hang of it.. lol.. So ketinggalan. I got something for my camera too (yeh yeh) The guy at the shop was quite helpful, friendly and funny too - kept trying to get us to buy more stuff =P

Mum: Glad I don't play with expensive stuff
Guy at shop: Oh, I'll show you some jewellery soon, ma'am.

Lucky Plaza was so crowded, you wouldn’t believe it! Every escalator was simply PACKED with people. Like sardines on a rotating tin. Wasn't able to get a pic of the escalator, unfortunately =(

Yeah then we walked down to Wisma Atria I think and then to Takashimaya.. Did some shopping, bought a few stuff.. I got new clothes and so did my Mum. Sheril didn't seem to want any clothes, probably cos she's suddenly in this "all-black" stage and she won't buy anything that isn't black and even if it is black, she must like it =P *sigh* teens. PRE-teens. Doesn't mean she didn't get her share of shopping though ;)

Oh, right, right. While we were in one of those shopping centres, I think it was Wisma Atria… we were browsing Isetan and we saw a crowd of people around some Men’s Apparels and wondered why there were so many people rushing to…pick…clothes… Yeap, you guessed it – Sale. The four magic letters =) Sale 60% off! So I did a really daring thing. Like, really daring. Some shops specify “no photography” but since I didn’t see such a sign in that particular Isetan (and though I already knew photography was probably prohibited), I took out my camera and took a few shots of the crowd and sign. Some security lady came and stopped me but I had already taken some anyway… I’m so naughty =P I don’t normally bend the rules, but sometimes I just want to have a little harmless fun.

See, I wont even put up the sign out of "respect"...

Didn’t take daring pics after that though. Didn’t see anything worth taking, and no point anyway. My memory card was reserved for prettier pictures, sight seeing and decorations =) Singapore is really serious when it comes to celebrating Christmas…

The Christmas Tree at Takashimaya. Nice..

And I saw Cookie Monster and Ernie and Bart performing (can't rememeber which mall it was) but I only got shots of them from the back. Couldn't be bothered to walk all the way to the other side just to take pics.

Yeah I think that's it for Sunday =)
