Nerd?

I was just having a chat with someone... and I came across an interesting question.. How do you define "nerd"? I was just thinking, the term "nerd" is so open and subjective... I mean, it really depends on people's opinions right? Anyone obliging enough to write in and tell me what they think the word "nerd" means? =)
