Year 2005

Happy New Year everyone - though I know some people wont be having a very happy new year... My condolences to those who have lost friends and family in the recent tsunami. It's very tragic, with so many lives taken just in a matter of minutes. I mean, no one expected it. It's very creepy and very terrifying. It goes to show that we should never take it for granted that a disaste this big will never happen to us. Even if only the few islands on M'sia were affected, it could have been so that the eartquake affected other parts of our so-called safe from huge disasters like earthquakes and tornadoes and volcanoes (etc, you get my drift) country - yes, it is really scary.

I hope no one we know were involved in the tsunami. God bless those whose lives were taken and their families.
